National Teams

In an historic decision, World Skate invited Namibia to participate in the European Championships in 2023. This decision was brought on by the fact there are no other countries on the African continent that participates in inline hockey, leaving Namibia with no competitions to partake in internationally. Namibia could however not form part of the European rankings in the sport and could not be awarded any medals irrespective of our end position in the competition. The decision to participate irrespective of the lack of medals or ranking status was driven by the Namibian Teams’ drive to continue to excel and gain experience on an international level.
