After recent success by the Namibian Senior Ladies at the European Championship in Charleroi, Belgium, the Junior Ladies made waves when they battled their way through to the finals on Sunday.
Here they faced a formidable opponent – Spain, but lost their last match with a final score of 4 – 0. The team bagged second place and were pleased with their success.
As with the Junior Men’s team, the U17 Men’s team put up an impressive performance and also managed to secure fifth place after their final game against Great Britain in which they won 5 – 9.
